Lee Stewart arranging abstract black and white artwork on a shelf with books and smaller framed art pieces nearby, in an indoor setting.

About

Lee Stewart (b. 1988, Estonia) crafts gestural brushstrokes that are both a homage to Abstract Expressionism and a bold evolution of it. She retains the movement’s emotional urgency and gestural vitality but reimagines its context, transforming art into a living exchange. On canvas, her marks pulse with raw spontaneity; on skin, they adapt to the body’s rhythms, transcending medium to resonate in the interplay between creation and human connection.

Stewart’s work distils fleeting emotion into timeless form, bridging solitary creation and shared experience. Each stroke- whether painted or inked - invites us to witness art not as a static object, but as a dynamic dialogue, alive on walls, skin, and the quiet edges of human intimacy.
